Akira Scarlett is a current undergraduate at Jacksonville State University, studying to achieve a Bachelor Degree: major in Film, minor in Technical Theatre.
Recent work including Long Leaf Studios as a studio assistant, Jacksonville State University Theatre and Film Department's Fall 2023 film production as a lighting technician, and classes in lighting and grip equipment. Previously worked in local theaters on productions like "The Lightning Thief: a Percy Jackson Musical", "Guys and Dolls", "Once Upon A Mattress", and "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and more theatrical plays.
