IAs a Script Supervisor, I get to watch the whole show/feature get made. My focus is to support each department to insure continuity, make notes for the Editors. We are always on a tight schedule and I help to make sure we don’t have actors in the wrong costumes, saying the right dialogue, and help make sure that every scene connects seamlessly.
I got my start in film and tv walking down the street in Washington DC when a car spun out in front of me and someone yelled “CUT!”. I met some of the crew and became a P.A. on “The Long Walk Home” with Whoopi Goldberg and Sissy Spacek. I talked to the Script Supervisor and eventually took classes to learn the craft. I’ve worked from New York to L.A. to Georgia,theDominican,Republic,and South Africa.
